FAQs - Delivery
Yes! If you place your order prior to Noon Eastern Time, we will gladly complete delivery as efficiently as possible! Of course, there are some exceptions, but those times are rare.
We cover a large area for delivery…addresses in Valley, Lanett, and Cusseta, Alabama and West Point, Georgia. Some extreme rural addresses for West Point, GA and other locations that we deem as unsafe and unstable roads might not be serviceable. If that is the case, we will notify you promptly. We frequently receive requests for deliveries to Lafayette and Salem, Alabama, neither of which are in our service area.
If you are attempting to place an order for a weekend service prior to Noon on Friday, simply complete your order online, enter the delivery day for Friday, and we'll deliver at the appropriate time during the weekend, according to instructions from the Funeral Home. If it is past Noon and before 3pm Eastern, call. If we have already closed for the weekend, call and leave a voicemail, and if at all possible, we will return your call. If we will be unable to handle your order (in the event that we are out of town, have fallen ill, etc), we will let you know ASAP.
If a loved one has passed and the funeral has not been planned yet, as long as you know the correct funeral home that is handling the service, follow the instructions above. We'll be in touch with the Funeral Home over the weekend and will be notified once the service date and time has been established…then we will deliver accordingly.
In the event that the recipient does not answer when we arrive at their door, the delivery will be left in a secure covered location. We will call and/or text the recipient to inform them of the delivery and where it was left. If we determine that there is no safe and secure location to leave the flowers protected and out of the elements, we will return them back to our shop, contact the recipient, and make arrangements for pick up or re-delivery (re-delivery not available to some remote locations).
We do not deliver to cemeteries except on the occasion that a funeral service is being held at the graveside.
There are several reasons why it is best for you to provide us with a phone number for the recipient.
- If we arrive and they are not home, we need to be able to contact them.
- If we arrive and they are home but can't come to the door, again…we need to contact them.
- Many times, we receive incorrect addresses for delivery and need to contact them for corrections.
- Believe it or not, many residents do not have their house number displayed on a mailbox, post, or door. This is frequently an issue in some of our most rural areas.
- If a residence has a closed gate, we will not enter until we have communication with the property owner. We have no idea what's on the other side…dogs, owners with guns and an itchy trigger finger…
We understand that you would like for your delivery to be a surprise. We will only contact the recipient beforehand when absolutely necessary. We will withhold all information until we arrive with the delivery, keeping the surprise intact.
